We all love travelling, but packing can be a pain and there's little worse than starting your vacation with a suitcase full of creased clothes.

Here are some hints and tips to help prevent them from arriving looking too dishevelled.

Try not to over-pack your bags

If you have to sit on the top to zip it up, it's too full!

Think logically about what you pack

Are there items that don’t wrinkle easily that you can take?

Roll up T-shirts or underwear

This will help to avoid a crease from forming.

Always button the buttons on shirts

Just like they do at your local laundry service or in shops - this will make them easier to fold.

Take the proper size luggage for your trip

A case that is too big will allow your items to move around and even potentially get damaged.

Unpack as soon as possible

The sooner you can get your clothes hung up the better they will look.

Hang any offending items in the bathroom while you shower

Let the steam remove the wrinkles. This works especially well on linens and cottons.

As a last resort, send them out

Don't forget that your hotel very probably has an ironing and laundry service available. So if something arrives looking very wrinkled, send it out to be professionally done.
