For a city with everything I recommend San Diego.Just across the bridge is the magnificent Coronado Island with the world famous Coronado hotel.Just like stepping back in time to Edward the Prince of Wales. The magnificent Pacific Ocean with warm velvet like sand.We could only afford a coffee there but it was worth every penny.

Vegas is the place to go!
It's fun fun fun all the way!
Spend the days checking out all the hotels from star trek to dolphins, loads of rollercoasters & a gamble along the way.
Spend your evenings checking out all the trendy bars, catch a cool show, then gamble the night away meeting loads of interesting people................you'll be smiling all the way :0)

I like the white sandy beaches and the crystal clear water and i am not talking about Florida. Gulf Shores Alabama is the nicest unknown vacation spot in the continental US.

It has to be New York. There is nowhere else like it on earth. The friendly people ( stand in the street looking at a map and see how many folk come up and offer to help you ), the fabulous tall buildings, the Empire State Building, especially when it is dressed in all its light finery for special occasions - look up on St Patrick's night ! Go for the tour along the Hudson around Manhattan to get a real idea just how many buildings are crammed onto that small island. Go to a play on Broadway , have coffee in Greenwich village at Balducci's coffee house. Wonderful !

Honolulu, HI and the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort, in Waikiki, has got to be the very best location for a short, or better yet, longer break in the good old USA. The weather is always comfortable, the people friendly, the entertainment great, some free and some not so free. The Hilton staff is professional and very helpful. They make you want reluctant to check-out and looking forward to returning.

My favorite vacation place has been Mrytle Beach to relax and unwind. This location provides a great beach with shopping and dinning and Southern Hospitality. There is golf and entertainment. I especially enjoy Brookgreen Gardens for its nature.
This vacation option is total relaxation when one does not want to go on a touring city trip. Mrytle Beach is good for people of all ages.

Difficult decision, but in the end it has to be Las Vegas. For those who have'nt been it's not just about gambling !There's something for everyone - fantastic hotels, shows, shopping, Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon and even sharks(Mandalay Bay Hotel)and not just the ones around the card tables!!

It's not really US, but so close--Hilton Curacao, with incredible reef snorkling that you just walk to, some of the best reef scuba in the world, a perfect sea-vista at sunset, the relative calm of the island but with gorgeous night life in Willemstad, including a couple of the best restaurants we've experienced in 20 years of world travel.

New Orleans. We visited recently, the people, even in adversity were so welcoming and pleased to have visitors to their town again. There is such variety, something for everyone. History and culture is rich. Night time Bourbon Street and French Quarter, so exciting. The Mississippi and surrounding swamps must be seen. Watch out for the alligators!! and the Cajun food and music. Make sure you don't miss out on the unbelievable crab and shrimp food. It's exquisite.

When it comes to a quick vacation in the USA nothing beats Chicago. The lake, the opera, the theater, the museums and the shopping are all great reasons to visit; but the best reason is the people. Chicago is friendly and clean and offers so much. I love going there

It has to be the state of Florida and especially the Orlando area. Not only the theme parks but the shopping malls and eating establishments make this a G-R-E-A-T location. Although I am now disabled with MS and not knowing what the future may bring I am determined to fly back there soon.

It HAS to be Hawaii at the Hilton Waikoloa. That is THE most beautiful and amazing resort and location on the planet. You can relax there like no other place. There are so many things to do and see without even leaving the resort grounds. The Turtles are amazing, and the waterfalls and works of art are spectacular as well.

Nashville is fabulous. There is a Hilton right on Broadway Street where all of the old country "honkey tonk" bars are located and just steps away from the Country Music Hall of Fame, Frist Art Museum and other downtown attractions. Venturing outside the city, you can take a driving tour of the country music stars gigantic mansions in Brentwood Tennessee and spend a quaint afternoon shopping in the historic town of Franklin.
